Versioning¶
Numerisect is an experimental pre-release. Versions are MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, but until a
1.0 release the minor number carries the weight: 0.6.0 added the libraries-first
architecture statement and a substantially wider workbench over 0.4.0.
Version 0.7.0 is the first public source release preserved by Zenodo. Its immutable snapshot has DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22679027, while 10.5281/zenodo.22679026 identifies the full version family. See Citing Numerisect for when to use each one.
Version 0.8.0 is preserved at DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22882181, the 0.8.1 patch release at DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22883791, the 0.9.0 feature release at DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23148620, 0.10.0 at DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23163322, 0.11.0 at DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23168705, 0.12.0 at DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23172229, and the 0.12.1 patch at DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23172885, and the 0.13.0 feature release at DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23175872, to which the concept DOI now resolves.
No official binary packages are published. Install from source, or use the versioned user-local installer, which keeps each release in its own directory with a stable launcher so state survives upgrades.
